Idle Speed Procedure
- Loosen lock nut on the adjusting screw. Start the engine and adjust the idle speed. See Fig 1 . Tighten the locknut.
- Check the play between the knurled nut and the lever, it should be .02-.04" (.5-1 mm). Check and correct linkage adjustment after idle speed adjustment has been made.
