- INSPECT BRAKE HOLD SWITCH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
*a Component without harness connected
(Brake Hold Switch)Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 (+B) - 4 (E) Switch pushed Below 1 Ω Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the brake hold switch.
- Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

(Brake Hold Switch)OK
Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 2 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → 5 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the brake hold switch.
