DTC 43: ABS Control System Malfunction: Procedure

1. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Check if the same DTC is recorded. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .

   Result

   Condition	Proceed to
   DTC (ABS control system DTC) is not output	A
   DTC (ABS control system DTC) is output	B

B → See step   3 

A: Go to next step 

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. Check if the same DTC is recorded. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .

   Result

   Condition	Proceed to
   DTC (43) is not output	A
   DTC (43) is output	B

B → REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY 

A → CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOM SIMULATION)
