Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE INDICATOR LIGHT)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Check the CRUISE main indicator light by using Active Test.COMBINATION METER
Test Display Test Part Control Range Indicat. La,p Cruise Cruise indicator light/ON or OFF Confirm that vehicle is stopped and engine is idling OK
Indicator light illuminates/turns off.

OK: Go to next step
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE INDICATOR LIGHT)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and the Techstream on.
- Select the item below in the Data List and read the display on the Techstream.CRUISE CONTROL
Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note CCS Indicator M-CPU Cruise indicator signal (Main CPU) / ON or OFF ON: CRUISE main indicator (Main CPU) is ON
OFF: CRUISE main indicator (Main CPU) is OFF- OK
When cruise control main switch operation is performed, the standard values will be above.
NG → REPLACE ECM
OK → END
- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING .
