Distance Control Ecu: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 28
  3. REMOVE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the ECU connector.
    2. Remove the nut and ECU.
