Combination Meter: Installation: Installation

INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
1. Position the combination meter assembly on the steering column as shown in the illustration.

  NOTE:
  Do not damage the instrument panel safety pad or combination meter assembly.
2. Connect the connectors.
3. Engage the 2 positioning pins of the combination meter assembly.

4. Engage the 2 claws and install the combination meter assembly.
5. Remove the protective tape.
INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the 2 clips.

2. Install the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 79
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 81
INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
