DTC Check / Clear

CHECK DTC
1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the intelligent tester ON.
3. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / IMMOBILIZER / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.
4. Check DTCs and then write them down.

  Refer to the intelligent tester operator's manual for further details.
5. Confirm the details of the DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

CLEAR DTC
1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (do not start the engine) and turn the intelligent tester ON.
3. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / IMMOBILIZER / DTC INFO / CLEAR CODES.

4. Erase DTCs by pressing the YES button on the tester.
