How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the climate control seat system.
• *: Use the intelligent tester or Techstream.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. INSPECT ELECTRIC POWER CONTROL SYSTEM* 
   1. Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, check if the electric power control system is functioning normally.

   2. Using the intelligent tester, check the electric power control system's load control history (see OPERATION CHECK ).

4. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Using the intelligent tester or Techstream to check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally.
