Inspection Procedure
- CHECK FUSE (RR-IG-3, D RR S/HTR)
- Remove the RR-IG-3 fuse from the luggage room junction block.
- Remove the D RR S/HTR fuse from main body ECU.
- Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance
FUSE (RR-IG-3, D RR S/HTR)Tester Connector Condition Specified Condition RR-IG-3 fuse Always Below 1 Ω D RR S/HTR fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the f28 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND RESISTANCETester Connector Condition Specified Condition f28-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND VOLTAGETester Connector Switch Condition Specified Condition f28-1 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V f28-2 (SYSB) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH)
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the rear power seat module switch.

- INSPECT CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Remove the r3 curtain switch connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLYTester Connector Switch Condition Specified Condition 18 (SW2) - 5 (SWE1) Rear left seat A/C switch ON Below 1.5 V HINT:
As the circuit has a diode, perform the measurement with the tester in diode mode.

NG: REPLACE CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH CURTAIN SWITCH AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the r1 power seat switch connector.
- Disconnect the r3 curtain switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
