Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Installation
- INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER
- Using SST, install 2 new gaskets, the fuel tube and pulsation damper to the fuel pump.
SST 09612-24014 (09617-24011)
Torque: 40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)
HINT:
The torque shown above should be used for tightening without using SST. When the SST is used for tightening, the torque should be calculated based on the length of the SST (See REPAIR INSTRUCTION ).
- Using SST, install 2 new gaskets, the fuel tube and pulsation damper to the fuel pump.
- INSTALL V-BANK COVER (See Step 115 in INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (See Step 93 in INSTALLATION )
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION
).
HINT:
Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
