Inspection Procedure
- CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (DISPLAY CHECK MODE)
- Enter the "Display Check" mode (Vehicle Signal Check Mode) (see DISPLAY CHECK MODE ).
- Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation (P and R).

SHIFT LEVER POSITIONShift Lever Position Display R ON P OFF HINT:
This display is updated once per seconds. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.
OK: REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
NG: GO TO Next Step .
- CHECK MAIN BODY ECU LH
- Measure the voltage of the junction block.
Standard voltage
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Shift Lever Position Specified Condition V2-2 (BACK) - Body ground R 10 to 14 V V2-2 (BACK) - Body ground Not R Below 1 V
NG: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU LH
OK: GO TO Next Step .
- Measure the voltage of the junction block.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - MAIN BODY ECU LH)
- Disconnect the K46 display connector.
- Disconnect the V2 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition K46-13 (REV) - V2-2 (BACK) Below 1 Ω K46-13 (REV) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO Next Step .
- CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY
- Measure the voltage of the display.
Standard voltage
