Inspection Procedure

- Check voltage between terminals IND of transponder key ECU connector and body ground (See PROCEDURE
).
PREPARATION:
Turn ignition switch ON and switch to diagnosis mode.
CHECK:
Measure voltage between terminals IND of transponder key ECU connector and body ground when security indicator light comes on and goes off.
OK:

- NG: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptom table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
- OK: Go to Next Step.
- Check security indicator.
HINT:
w/LEXUS Navigation System (See TERMINALS OF ECU )

- OK: Check and replace multi- information display.
