Inspection Procedure
- READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the seat memory switch.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand-held tester main switch ON.
- Select the following items in the DATA LIST and read the switch condition on the hand-held tester.
Standard: Power window regulator master switch assy
READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY)Item Measurement Item/Display (Range) Normal Condition SEAT SET SW Seat memory set switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Seat memory set switch is ON
OFF: Seat memory set switch is OFFSEAT MEM M1 Seat memory switch M1 signal/ON or OFF ON: Seat memory switch M1 is ON
OFF: Seat memory switch M1 is OFFSEAT MEM M2 Seat memory switch M2 signal/ON or OFF ON: Seat memory switch M2 is ON
OFF: Seat memory switch M2 is OFF
- OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
- NG: Go to next step
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the seat memory switch.
- INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (See INSPECTION
)
- NG: REPLACE SEAT MEMORY SWITCH
- OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SEAT MEMORY SWITCH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P22 switch and D15 switch connectors.
- Check the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
RESISTANCE BETWEEN SEAT MEMORY SWITCH AND POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH TERMINALSTester Connection Specified Condition D15-2 - P22-3 Below 1 Ω D15-4 - P22-13 D15-3 - P22-17 D15-1 - Body ground

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
