Inspection Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Toyota Sienna. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. CHECK FUSE (HTR) 
    1. Remove the HTR fuse from the driver side J/B.
    2. Check for the continuity of HTR fuse.
    1. NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - BATTERY) 
    1. Remove the A/C amplifier with connectors being connected.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
    3. Measure the voltage between terminal IG of A/C amplifier and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
