Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK DISPLAY SETTING 
    1. Check that the display is not in "Screen OFF" mode.

      Standard: The display setting is not in "Screen OFF" mode. 

    1. NG: CHANGE SCREEN TO "SCREEN ON" MODE 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK IMAGE QUALITY SETTING 
    1. Check if screen color quality can be set.

      Standard: Screen color quality can be set. 

    1. OK: PRESS PANEL SWITCH "DISPLAY" AND SET SCREEN COLOR QUALITY TO NORMAL 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK CABIN 
    1. Check if condensation is likely to occur, or the temperature is high or low (extremely cold) in the cabin.

      HINT:

      This problem occurs when the cabin is humid and the temperature rapidly changes. This condition may produce condensation, resulting in a short circuit.

      Standard: The above conditions are not observed. 

    1. NG: SET CABIN TEMPERATURE TO APPROPRIATE DEGREES (20 TO 30°C) (68 TO 86°F) 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
