July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Inspection Procedure

  1. Remove the power seat ECU with connectors still connected. Measure the voltage between connector P24 terminal No. 8 (IG) of the power seat ECU connector and body ground when ignition switch is ON and OFF. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . See MEASURING IGNITION SWITCH VOLTAGE  table. If the results are OK, proceed to the next circuit inspection of the problem symptom. See PROBLEM SYMPTOM INDEX  table. If the results are not good, go to the next step.
    MEASURING IGNITION SWITCH VOLTAGE

    Ignition Switch Voltage
    ON 10-14
    OFF Zero
  2. Check the ECU-IG fuse located in the left hand cowl side junction block behind the left kick panel. If the results are OK, check and repair the harness or connector between the power seat ECU and battery. If the results are not good, check for a short in all the harness and components connected to the ECU-IG fuse.
