July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Inspection Procedure

  1. Check MPX-B1, MPX-IG and D DOOR fuse. 
    1. CHECK:  Check continuity of MPX-B1, MPX-IG and D DOOR fuse.
      1. OK:  Continuity
    1. NG:  Replace faulty fuse.
    2. OK:  Go to next step.
  2. Check voltage between terminals BDR, CPUB, SIG and GND of driver door ECU connector. 
    1. PREPARATION:  Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. CHECK:  Measure the voltage between terminals SIG and GND.
      1. OK:  Voltage: 10-14 V
    3. PREPARATION: 
      1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
      2. Disconnect the driver door ECU connector.
    4. CHECK:  Measure the voltage between terminals BDR, CPUB and GND.
      1. OK:  Voltage: 10-14 V
    1. OK:  Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES ).
    2. NG:  Go to next step.
  3. Check wire harness and connector between ECU and body ground. 
    1. NG:  Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
    2. OK:  Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES ).
