Test 11 (Diagnostic Connector Circuit)

This is the circuit between Data Link Connector (DLC) No. 2 and cruise control ECU. When ignition is on and this circuit is grounded, cruise control ECU displays codes through CRUISE indicator light.

1. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between terminals Tc and E1 of DLC No. 2, located under left side of instrument panel. See Figure. If battery voltage is present, perform next procedure listed in the DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM  table.
2. If battery voltage is not present, check for faulty circuit between cruise control ECU and DLC No. 2, and between DLC No. 2 and ground. If circuit is okay, replace cruise control ECU.
