July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Compressor Clutch Relay Check

  1. Remove compressor clutch relay from relay block No. 2, located in engine compartment. Ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1. Continuity should not exist between terminals No. 3 and 5.
  2. Apply battery voltage to relay terminal No. 1, and connect terminal No. 2 to ground. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and 5. If continuity is not as specified, replace compressor clutch relay. If continuity is as specified, perform ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) CIRCUIT VOLTAGE CHECK below.
