Preliminary Conditions

Before checking input signal for speed sensor, raise vehicle with drive wheels off ground. Start engine. Shift transmission into Drive (shift transmission into gear on M/T). On A/T models, before checking input signals for CANCEL switch, stoplight switch, parking brake switch and Neutral start switch, shift transmission into Drive.
