- Check starter signal circuit. See CODE 43 in TESTS W/CODES - EXCEPT OBD-II

- Check Idle Air Control (IAC) valve circuit.
- Check fuel pump control circuit. See CODE 78 in TESTS W/CODES - EXCEPT OBD-II

- Check fuel injector circuit.
- Check ignition coil resistance.
- Check distributor sensors.
- Check spark plugs.
