Power Mirror Assembly
WARNING:
To prevent possible fire hazard, ensure mirror defogger element is off or has had ample time to cool before sliding shop towel behind mirror.
- Disconnect battery negative cable. Remove trim panel at base of mirror inside door. Disconnect power mirror motor harness connector. Remove 3 mirror retaining screws and remove mirror assembly.
- Slide a shop towel between mirror and mirror housing. Pull outward on bottom of mirror, using shop towel to disengage mirror retaining clips. Rotate mirror upward to disengage pivot pins. To install, reverse removal procedure.
