ABS System Works Inefficiently

Turn ignition on. Remove short pin from check connector. Using a jumper wire, connect terminals Tc and E1 of TDCL connector or check connector. See Figure and Figure . If ABS light flashes 4 times per second, go to next step. If ABS light does not flash 4 times per second, refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODES .
Ensure battery voltage is present between terminal No. 7 of ABS ECU connector A23 (22-pin) and ground when brake pedal is depressed. See Figure. If battery voltage is not present when brake pedal is depressed, repair open circuit in stoplight switch or wiring harness. Check actuator operation. See ACTUATOR CHECK .
