Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) refer to numbers in illustrations.

REMOVAL
1. Remove 3 fasteners (1) securing the passenger side underdash trim panel. Release panel for access to ABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU).





2. Disconnect ECU multiplug (2).
3. Remove 2 bolts (3) securing ECU to bracket.
4. Remove ECU.

INSTALLATION
1. Locate ECU to bracket, install securing bolts. Tighten to 6 Nm (4 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect multiplug to ECU. Install closing panel and secure with fasteners.
