System was introduced on all North American specification vehicles from October 1996 models year. Advanced EVAP vehicles can be recognized by the information contained in the EVAP. FAMILY entry on the underhood emission label (mounted on the hood lock platform). Vehicles without advanced EVAPS are labeled VLR1060AYPBC. See Figure . Vehicles with advanced EVAPS are labeled VLR1124AYPFE.
