Inspection (Steering Box Casing)

  1. Examine piston bore for scoring and wear. See Fig 1 .
  2. Examine feed tube. See Fig 1 .
  3. Install a new feed tube if damaged. Tighten unions to 16 ft. lbs. (22 N.m).
