Cruise Control Cable
Ensure throttle cable is properly adjusted. See THROTTLE CABLE. Using light finger pressure only, push cruise control lever toward plenum chamber to remove free play from cruise control cable. See Fig 1 . Turn plastic thumbscrew to adjust cable outer length until a clearance of .02-.06" (.5-1.5 mm) is obtained.
