The main features of CAN (Controller Area Network) bus system are:

• Signals are broadcast in both directions.
• The Multi-master principle.
• High availability by locating failed control units.
• Standardization in accordance with ISO 11898.

Vehicle electronic controls need many types of information from each module to increase convenience/safety by optimum control. The control module send or receive data from each module by using CAN communication. The CAN communication is one of the vehicle communications method, which is now widely used to transfer the vehicle data.
