Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	Engine oil temperature sensor connector	3 (power)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
	Engine oil temperature sensor connector	1 (temperature signal)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	Engine oil temperature sensor connector	1 (temperature signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (infinity)Ω
	Engine oil temperature sensor connector	2 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
