July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, wait at least 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Disconnect the supplemental restraint system control module connectors (A).

  4. Remove the supplemental restraint system control module (A) after removing the bolt and nuts.

    Tightening torque 

    Bolt:  10.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.4 kgf.m, 8 - 10.1 lb.ft)

    Nut:  6.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.7 - 0.8 kgf.m, 5.1 - 5.8 lb.ft)
