July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal & Installation: Installation

  1. Install in reverse order of removal.
WARNING: In the case of the SRSCM with the rollover detection function applied, the airbag may be deployed due to the movement generated during the installation, so do not install the SRSCM while the battery is connected or less than 3 minutes and 30 seconds after the battery is disconnected.
  2. After installing the SRSCM, make sure that the airbag system operates normally.
NOTE: When the IG is on, the airbag warning lamp should turns off after turning on for 3 - 6 seconds.
  3. If the Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM) is replaced with a new one, perform the "ACU Variant Coding" procedure by using the KDS.

(S/W Management → Airbag → ACU Variant Coding)

    Information

Refer to the KDS screen for operating conditions and details.
