July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal & Installation

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the driver airbag (DAB) module and clock spring.

    (Refer to Restraint - "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to Steering System - "STEERING WHEEL ")

  4. Remove the steering column shroud lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")

  5. Disconnect the clock spring connector.

  6. Remove the clock spring from the steering column.

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
