System Inspection: Notes

Visual/physical checks are carried out for the following conditions.
- Vacuum hose damaged, cracked and poor connection.
- Check Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve for malfunction.
- Check the rubber gasket on the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve for damage.
- Check ECM ground.
Check the MAFS and the ECTS for the following items.

Poor connector contact and wiring damage.
Check MAFS signals for increasing as the number of engine rotations increases. (Operate the accelerator pedal and check the KDS monitor.)
It monitors KDS and checks whether the value of ECTS matches the actual engine temperature.
Good
- Go to "CKPS AND CMPS OSCILLOSCOPE INSPECTION " procedure.
No Good
- Repair as necessary and Go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
