CAN Communication Line Inspection 

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification

  1. Ignition "ON".
IEB connector 4 (C-CAN high)  
Chassis ground

IEB connector 5 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) of all concerned component to the related CAN system.
IEB connector 4 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - ∞(infinity)Ω
IEB connector 5 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground - ∞(infinity)Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.

  1. Ignition "OFF".

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
ICU connector 17 (P-CAN high) ECM connector 62 (P-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
ICU connector 18 (P-CAN low) ECM connector 45 (P-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) of all the concerned component to the related CAN system.
ECM connector 62 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - ∞(Infinity)Ω
ECM connector 45 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground - ∞(Infinity)Ω
  1. Ignition "ON".
