DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical inspection
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short to power in signal circuit
  • Faulty OPTS
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Engine coolant temperature is below 120°C (248°F)
  • Battery voltage is between 10 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Engine oil temperature sensor output voltage is below 0.1V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
