DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Electrical check
  • Poor connector connection

Enable Conditions Case1
  • Less than 10% of percentage of deceleration fuel cut-off time
  • Less than 60% of percentage of low load state (vehicle speed less than 20km/h (12.43MPH))
  • Less than 15% of percentage of high speed state (vehicle speed more than 90km/h (55.92MPH))
  • Less than 50% of percentage of low speed (engine load less than 8.0 to 15.0%)
  • Coolant temperature should not drop much at high engine speed
    • High engine speed standard (more than 4500RPM)
    • High engine speed for more than 40s
    • Engine coolant temperature decrease is more than 2°C (35.6°F) at high engine speed
  • Engine coolant temperature at startup is more than -10°C (14°F)
  • Intake temperature is more than -6°C (21.2°F) at the start
  • Ambient temperature is more than -8°C (17.6°F)
  • No relevant failure
Case2
  • Engine coolant temperature at startup is more than -10°C (14°F)
  • Ambient temperature is more than -10°C (14°F)
  • Engine coolant temperature after engine "ON" is higher than 77°C (170.6°F)
  • Intake air volume is higher than 4.2 to 152.8g/s
  • Vehicle speed is higher than 40 to 80km/h (24.8 to 49.7mph)
Threshold Value Case1
  • When the measured coolant temperature is below 77°C (170.6°F) while the coolant model temperature is above 84°C (183.2°F)
Case2
  • When the measured cooling water temperature is 56°C (132.8°F) or less while the measured intake air volume is higher than 556 to 1667g/s
