Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
    CAUTION: After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 3 minutes.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to " Replacement  ") 

  3. Remove the knee airbag module (A) by loosening the mounting nuts.

    Tightening Torque: 0.7 ~ 1.1 kgf.m

  4. Disconnect the knee airbag connector (A) by pressing the lock pin.
