Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
NOTE: After disconnecting the negative battery terminal, wait at least 30 seconds.
Remove the roof trim assembly.
(Refer to Body - "ROOF TRIM ASSEMBLY ")
Disconnect the curtain airbag module connector (A).

Remove the curtain airbag module (A) after loosening the bolts and nuts.
Tightening torque

Bolt: 7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.7 - 8.7 lb-ft)

Nut: 3.9 - 5.8 Nm (0.4 - 0.6 kgfm, 2.8 - 4.3 lb-ft, 34.7 - 52.0 lb-in)
