Ground Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF" and disconnect FRPS connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (Signal) terminal of FRPS harness connector and chassis ground (A).
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2^ (Signal) terminal and Pin No. 3^ (Ground) terminal of the FRPS (B).
Specification: "A" - "B" = Below 200 mV^ (A, B: Approx. 4.8V)
- Is the measured Value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
