July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Battery Terminal

  1. Move back and forth to check that the battery terminals (A) are loose or corroded.

    If the terminals are corroded, clean them.

    WARNING: If battery positive connection is loose, disconnect ground(GND) cable first before attempting to remove or tighten plus connection, to prevent personal injury.
  2. If the battery clamp on battery positive (+) terminal is not seated securely:
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
    2. Tighten battery clamp (A) on battery positive (+) terminal

      Battery positive (+) terminal tightening nut  :

      7.8 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)

    3. If the battery clamp on battery negative (-) terminal is not seated securely:
      1. Tighten battery clamp (A) on battery negative (-) terminal.

        Battery negative (-) terminal tightening nut  :

        4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.4 lb-ft)
