July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Run-Out Inspection

  1. Jack up the vehicle.
  2. Measure the wheel Runout by using a dial indicator as shown in illustration below.
    Run-Out Aluminum Steel
    Radial mm (in.) Below 0.3 (0.012) Below 1.4 (0.055)
    Lateral mm (in.) Below 0.3 (0.012) Below 0.9 (0.035)
  3. If measured value exceeds the standard value, replace the wheel.
