Monitor KDS/GDS Data

Ignition "OFF"
Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON"
Select "A/T" system
Monitor "Shift Lever Switch" parameters in "Current Data" with KDS/GDS.
Specification: Shift lever switch parameter value changes in according to actual shift lever switch position.

Is the parameter displayed within specification?
YES
- Go to "Wiring Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Check for CAN related fault in A/T system.
- If CAN related fault is present in A/T system, perform applicable troubleshooting steps.
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
