Control Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect the Oil Pump Solenoid Valve connector.
- Ignition "ON"
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of Oil Pump Solenoid Valve harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 2.5V
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of Oil Pump Solenoid Valve harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞ (infinite)Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
