Check Performance Of Oil Pressure Switch

Ignition "OFF".
Connect VMI to KDS/GDS and select "Oscilloscope".
Ignition "ON". & engine "ON".
Measure voltage between Pin No. 82 (Oil Pressure Solenoid Control) terminal of ECM harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure voltage between Pin No. 72 (Oil Pressure Sensor) terminal of ECM harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Refer to Fig 1

Does the Oil Pressure Switch operate properly? (Check variation)
YES
- Go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the Oil Pressure Switch and go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.
