Control Circuit Inspection

  1. Check the fuel pump fuse (15A)
  2. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect fuel pump connector.
  3. Using a multimeter, check the power circuit for the fuel pump. Measure the power within 3 seconds after turning the ignition "ON" (Engine "OFF").

    Specification: 

    Fuel pump operates for about 7-8 seconds in normal condition after ignition "ON" (Approx. 0V →12V →0V)

  4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    NO
