DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short/open in downstream O2 Sensor signal circuit
  3. Defected downstream O2 sensor
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10.7V
  • Exhaust gas temperature (Model) is higher than B1420
  • O2 sensor voltage is higher than 9.2V
Case 2
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10.7V
  • 10 sec. after dew point end detected
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Downstream O2 sensor voltage is at between 0.4V and 0.5V
Case 2
  • 0.04 sec. for absolute value of Δusvk is higher than 2V during 5 times of heater on and OFF condition
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 400 sec.
Case 2

MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
