DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal voltage monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short/open in upstream O2 sensor signal circuit
  3. Defected upstream O2 sensor
General Enable Conditions
  • Fuel feedback control active
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10.7V
  • Upstream O2 sensor heater control "ON"
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Downstream O2 sensor voltage is higher than 0.55V
Case 2
  • Downstream O2 sensor voltage is lower than 0.15V
  • Dew point end check
Case 3
  • 10 sec. after dew point end detected
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Upstream O2 sensor voltage is at between 0.06V and 0.4V
Case 2
  • Upstream O2 sensor voltage is at between 0.6V and 1.08V
Case 3
  • 0.04 sec. for absolute value of Δusvk is higher than 2V during 5 times of heater on and off condition
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 15 sec.
Case 2
  • 10 sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
