Battery Ambient Sensor





Removal

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the auxiliary 12V battery negative (-) cable.
2. Remove the auxiliary battery service cover (A).




3. Disconnect the sensor connector (A), then pull the sensor (B) upward.






Installation

1. Installation is reverse of removal

Inspection

1. Shut off the high voltage circuit .
2. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
4. Check the battery ambient temperature in GDS service data.




5. Disconnect the BMS ECU connector (A) or the BMS extension connector (B).
6. Measure resistances between the BMS ECU connector (A) terminal 13 and 26 or between the BMS extension connector (B) terminal 3 and 4, then compare the value with the GDS service data.
