Removal And Installation

Disconnect the battery terminals. Refer to BATTERY .
Remove the air cleaner assembly and the intercooler inlet/outlet hoses. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY .
Remove the battery and battery tray. Refer to BATTERY .
Remove the under covers. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY .
Remove the intercooler upper mounting bracket (A).
Tightening torque

3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)

Remove the intercooler (A) after removing the air guide (B)
Tightening torque

Air guide bolts:

4.9 ~ 7.8 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.8 lb-ft)

Installation is reverse order of removal.
