Removal And Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the battery terminals. Refer to BATTERY .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly and the intercooler inlet/outlet hoses. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY .
  3. Remove the battery and battery tray. Refer to BATTERY .
  4. Remove the under covers. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY .
  5. Remove the intercooler upper mounting bracket (A).

    Tightening torque 

    3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)

  6. Remove the intercooler (A) after removing the air guide (B)

    Tightening torque 

    Air guide bolts:

    4.9 ~ 7.8 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.8 lb-ft)

  7. Installation is reverse order of removal.
