Power Steering Oil Pump: Installation

Install the power steering pump and tighten the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m, lb-ft):

17-26 (1.7-2.6, 12-19)

Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m, lb-ft):

35-50 (3.5-5.0, 25-36)

Connect the suction hose (B) with suction pipe.
Connect the pressure tube (A) to power steering pump by tightening the eye bolt.
Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m, lb-ft):

55-65 (5.5-6.5, 36-47)

Install the drive belt.
Add power steering fluid to reservoir.
Bleed the power steering system. (Refer to AIR BLEEDING )
Check power steering pump relief pressure. (Refer to OIL PUMP PRESSURE TEST (OIL PUMP RELIEF PRESSURE) )
